Mercedes-Benz reveals the next-generation CLS at the 2017 Los Angeles International Auto Show.

What’s going on?

The Mercedes-Benz CLS was revolutionary in terms of design. Although he did not invent it, the CLS is closely associated with the revival of the concept of a “four-door coupe,” starting with the original car in 2003. Based on the E-Class sedan, but with the Classic, the CLS-class, sleek, short and elongated on the roof, imitating the coupe line, has proven that practicality should not be at the expense of good looks.

Now Mercedes-Benz has increased its bid by introducing the all-new third-generation CLS at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show.

It’s beautiful. What’s new about it?

I know we think so too. Like previous CLS versions, the latest model is still based on the E-Class sedan. It also features a new design, much cleaner, with fewer bends, folds and folds than the previous model. It also recalls some of the latest design ideas we saw on great models like the S-Class and E-Class Coupe. For example, the new CLS includes the latest Merc corporate diamond grille, a feature made only for the Mercedes-Benz coupe. There are also frameless doors, as well as a waste line with a high arch.

“The new CLS is a design icon as an example of a four-door coupe. In accordance with our philosophy of hot and classy design, we reduced his DNA to an extremely puristic level, emotionally charging him with beauty, ”said Gorden Wagener, chief designer of Daimler AG.

Inside, the CLS now uses the same 12.3-inch digital LCDs instead of traditional sensors, similar to the latest E-Class sedans and coupes, as well as S-Class sedans and coupes. Other bizarre elements that can be found in the aforementioned cars, such as adjustable 64-color lighting and a dashboard on which there is enough wood to build a house, also carry over.
